The sole purpose of education is to teach social and cultural learning along with a scientific understanding to a student. An educational institute is the most dignified place wherein a student’s overall personality development is done.
Hence forth Govt. Degree College Nagrota Surian is an exemplary one in this context as it is sincerely and honestly dedicated to work for the betterment of all the students by attending to their academic and personal issues at the same time. This college has all the core faculties inclusive of Arts, Science, Commerce as well as BCA.
The teachers of the college are not only contributing effectively towards academics but also actively participating in the enhancement of cultural and literary dimensions as well benefitting the students by ensuring their 100% over-all development.
Community and disciplinary units like NSS, Rovers & Rangers, Eco Club, Red-Ribbon Club and Career Counseling Cell are functioning effectively in college. By the grace of the goddess MAA SARASWATI, the college is effectively functioning by catering to a noble vision and a strong mission of preparing the students as a responsible, thoughtful and law abiding citizens; so that they can contribute their best for the development of our State and Nation.
