Vision
“Government Degree College, Nagrota Surian, envisions itself as a beacon of educational empowerment for rural communities, with a special focus on girl students and those from underprivileged backgrounds. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality education to students who might otherwise face barriers due to their socio-economic status. We aim to cultivate an environment that nurtures intellectual growth, moral integrity, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Our college is dedicated to breaking down the traditional barriers to education in rural areas, ensuring students—especially girls—who are encouraged, supported, and given the necessary resources to achieve academic and personal success. By integrating modern facilities with a deep commitment to the values of inclusivity and equality, we seek to provide opportunities for skill development, career readiness, and personal growth. To inspire, educate, and empower the Students of rural areas, preparing them to lead meaningful and impactful lives. We strive to:
