Learning Outcomes

Assessment of Programme Learning Outcomes is done through direct and indirect methods of assessment. The purpose behind giving the assignments is that the students can consult reference books and search for available e-resources in addition to the text books. It enhances and widens the horizons and understanding level of students. It is the duty and responsibility of the concerned subject teacher to ensure that all students are able to work out the assignments honestly and within the specified time. Assessment tools like comprehensive examination, presentation and performance in the class etc. are decided keeping in mind the learning outcomes to be measured and the desired emphasis during the delivery of a programme as prescribed in the course curriculum.
