On 6th September 2024, Dr. Balbir Thakur HOD UIIT HPU Shimla, educated young BCA students about the latest developments in the field of computer science. Under the “Supercomputing Mission,” he delivered a special lecture to BCA students from the first, third, and fifth semesters. The lecture aimed to raise awareness about High-Performance Computing (HPC), which seeks to utilize computing power to its fullest potential for solving complex real-world problems. He also provided guidance on career opportunities in supercomputing and related fields.
